Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Woods ripped by Cypress Ranch

The Cypress Ranch Mustangs basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Cypress Woods Wildcats to 43 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Langham Creek for a 6A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, February 1. Cypress Ranch will meet a Lobos team coming off a 57-46 league win over Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 14-14.

The Wildcats (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region II District 16 contest with a 13-13 record. In their last contest, Cypress Park was routed by Bridgeland (Cypress, TX), 56-45, in a league contest.
