    The Dundee-Crown Chargers basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Hampshire Whip-Purs to 35 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

    The Chargers now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barrington for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 29. Dundee-Crown will meet a Fillies/Broncos team coming off a 55-22 league win over Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Fillies/Broncos record now stands at 17-4.

    The Whip-Purs (10-13) will now prepare for their contest against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders enter the Fox Valley contest with a 21-4 record. In their last contest, Huntley ran past Cary-Grove (Cary, IL), 40-36, in a league contest.
