With the victory, Weed upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Modoc (Alturas, CA) to play the Braves in a Shasta Cascade bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Modoc won 74-39 in their recent league bout against Trinity (Weaverville, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) in a Shasta Cascade bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Etna will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 54-50 league loss to Fall River (McArthur, CA).
