Fairfield Prep Jesuits (Fairfield, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), 64-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fairfield Prep upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Jesuits host Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT) to clash with the Governors in a non-league bout on Monday, January 31. The Governors go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Wilbur Cross lost 78-59 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame (West Haven, CT)
Next up, the Gaels clash with the Notre Dame Green Knights (West Haven, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Shelton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Green Knights go into the bout with a 18-0 record after their 78-59 non-league win over Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT).
