Texas High School Basketball - Skidmore-Tynan can't hold off George West

The George West Longhorns basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats to 45 in the Longhorns league victory on Friday.
The Longhorns now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Odem for a 3A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, February 1. George West will battle a Owls team coming off a 59-27 league win over Taft (Taft, TX). The Owls record now stands at 19-11.
The Bobcats (13-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Pirates come into the 3A Region IV District 29 contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Mathis was nudged by Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX), 67-58, in a league contest.
