The Jackson Polar Bears basketball team scored 49 points and held the host GlenOak Golden Eagles to 42 in the Polar Bears league triumph on Friday.
The Polar Bears now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry for a Federal contest on Tuesday, February 1. Jackson will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 63-44 non-league loss to Coventry (Akron, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 0-15.
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) in a Federal bout, on Tuesday, February 1. GlenOak will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 49-47 league loss to Hoover (North Canton, OH).
