California High School Basketball - Silver Creek can't hold off Pioneer

The Pioneer Mustangs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Silver Creek Raiders to 50 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont Hills for a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton contest on Wednesday, February 2.

The Raiders (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (San Jose, CA). The 76ers come into the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Independence edged Leigh (San Jose, CA), 59-44, in a league contest.
