North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant topples Cabarrus Charter

In Friday's league outing, the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Cabarrus Charter Huskies (Concord, NC), by a count of 75-64.

The Stallions (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals go into the 1A Conference 38 outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Corvian Community was topped by Carolina International (Concord, NC), 63-62, in a league outing.

The Huskies now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Piedmont Community Charter for a 1A Conference 38 outing on Tuesday, February 1. Cabarrus Charter will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 81-55 league loss to Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-11.
