Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) and the host Audubon Wheelers (Audubon, IA), saw Underwood's basketball squad hold off Audubon by a tally of 41-39.
With the victory, Underwood improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Tri-Center (Neola, IA) to play the Trojans in a Western Iowa challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Tri-Center won 59-39 in their recent league challenge against Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA)
Next up, the Wheelers play the Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA) in a Western Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Audubon will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record.
