The Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Buckley Bears (Buckley, MI), 41-24 in Friday's league test.

The Huskies (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Portagers go into the Northwest test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Onekama went down by Kingsley (Kingsley, MI), 51-35, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Lake for a Northwest test on Tuesday, February 1. Buckley will encounter a Lakers squad coming off a 53-24 league win over Leland (Leland, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 13-0.
