Iowa High School Basketball - Central Lyon trounces Okoboji

The Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) basketball crushed the host Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA), 55-34 in Friday's league test.
The Lions (15-1) will now prepare for their test against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen go into the Siouxland test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, MOC-Floyd Valley walloped George-Little Rock (George, IA), 64-37, in a league test.
The Pioneers now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they host West Lyon for a Siouxland test on Tuesday, February 1. Okoboji will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 53-52 league win over Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-1.
