In Friday's league outing, the Coe-Brown Academy Bears (Northwood, NH) basketball squad edged the host Oyster River Bobcats (Durham, NH), by a margin of 33-28.

The Bears (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Bow (Bow, NH). The Falcons go into the Division II outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Bow held off Kennett (Conway, NH), 39-24, in a league outing.

The Bobcats now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester West for a Division II outing on Tuesday, February 1. Oyster River will clash with a Blue Knights squad coming off a 44-18 league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, NH). The Blue Knights record now stands at 3-12.
