Connecticut High School Basketball - Griswold overwhelmed by Windham

The Windham Whippets basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Griswold Wolverines to 35 in the Whippets league victory on Friday.

The Whippets now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyman Memorial for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1. Windham will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Coventry (Coventry, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-7.

The Wolverines (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Saints come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, St. Bernard was routed by Stonington (Stonington, CT), 41-32, in a non-league contest.
