The Marian Mustangs (Bloomfield Hills, MI) basketball felled the host Regina (Warren, MI), 37-21 in Friday's league test.
The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI). The Fighting Irish go into the Catholic Central test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Gabriel Richard thwarted Lutheran North (Macomb, MI), 53-28, in a league test.
The now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Mercy for a Catholic Central test on Tuesday, February 1. Regina will encounter a Marlins squad coming off a 46-43 league win over Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Marlins record now stands at 11-2.
