In Friday's league outing, the Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) basketball squad felled the host Wilkinson County Wildcats (Woodville, MS), by a margin of 43-24.
The Blue Waves (8-11) will now prepare for their outing against Wesson (Wesson, MS). The Cobras go into the 3A Region 7 outing with a 14-7 record. In their last outing, Wesson was beaten by Franklin County (Meadville, MS), 59-35, in a league outing.
