Bald Knob Bulldogs (Bald Knob, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Harding Academy Wildcats (Searcy, AR), 52-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Bald Knob upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Episcopal (Little Rock, AR) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region 6 bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Episcopal won 71-48 in their recent league bout against Central (West Helena, AR)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Pangburn Tigers (Pangburn, AR) in a 3A Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Harding Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-20 record after their 63-52 league loss to Riverview (Searcy, AR).
