The Banks County Leopards basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Fellowship Christian Paladins to 31 in the Leopards league triumph on Saturday.
The Leopards now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union County for a AA Region 8 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Banks County will battle a Panthers team coming off a 78-63 league win over Athens Academy (Athens, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 15-7.
The Paladins (1-18) will now prepare for their contest against East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Eagles enter the AA Region 8 contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, East Jackson was routed by Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA), 80-41, in a league contest.
