In Saturday's league match, the host Belt Huskies basketball team scored a good 58-47 triumph over the Centerville Miners.
In their next game, the Huskies meet the Highwood Mountaineers (Highwood, MT) in a C District 8 match, on Thursday, February 9. Belt will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Mountaineers enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 55-49 league loss to Centerville (Sand Coulee, MT).
With the defeat, Centerville moves to 9-6 on the year. The Miners travel to Roy/Winifred (Winifred, MT) to meet the Outlaws in a C District 8 match on Saturday, February 4.
