Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA), 75-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host Mountain View (Kingsley, PA) to confront the Eagles in a Lackawanna 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Mountain View lost 46-30 in their recent league challenge against Elk Lake (Dimock, PA)

Next up, the Redskins confront the Northeast Bradford Panthers (Rome, PA) in a Northern Tier challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Sayre will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 53-49 league loss to Canton (Canton, PA).
