Texas High School Basketball - Johnson nips Brandeis

January 28, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78249

Johnson Jaguars (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brandeis Broncos (San Antonio, TX), 43-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Johnson upgrades its record to 19-11 on the season. The Jaguars host Clark (San Antonio, TX) to play the Cougars in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 12-15. Clark won 58-45 in their recent league bout against Madison (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Broncos play the Churchill Chargers (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Brandeis will attempt to upgrade on its 17-10 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 18-10 record after their 75-63 league win over SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX).
