The Roselle Park Panthers (Roselle Park, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ), 45-43 in Saturday's league test.
The Panthers (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Abraham Clark (Roselle, NJ). The Rams go into the Union County test with a 18-1 record. In their last test, Abraham Clark got by South River (South River, NJ), 84-62, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to New Providence for a Mountain Valley - Valley test on Wednesday, February 1. Brearley will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 70-41 non-league loss to Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-9.
