Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) and the host Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME), saw Cheverus's basketball team achieve victory over Lewiston by a tally of 62-51.

The Stags now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford Hills for a AA North battle on Wednesday, February 1. Cheverus will battle a Vikings team coming off a 73-54 league win over Deering (Portland, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 13-1.

The Blue Devils (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Windham (Windham, ME). The Eagles come into the AA North battle with a 6-12 record.
