The Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds basketball team (Hays, MT), was nudged 79-77 in Saturday's league battle with the host Chinook Beeters (Chinook, MT)
The Beeters now possess a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Benton for a C District 9 battle on Saturday, February 11.
The Thunder Birds (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Turner (Turner, MT). The Tornadoes come into the C District 9 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Turner was nudged by Box Elder (Box Elder, MT), 71-57, in a league battle.
