In Saturday's league outing, the Dardanelle Sand Lizards (Dardanelle, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Clarksville Panthers (Clarksville, AR), by a count of 61-37.
The Sand Lizards (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mena (Mena, AR). The Bearcats go into the 4A Region 4 outing with a 3-14 record.
The Panthers now hold a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Fountain Lake for a 4A Region 4 outing on Wednesday, February 1. Clarksville will clash with a Cobras squad coming off a 57-50 league win over Waldron (Waldron, AR). The Cobras record now stands at 11-6.
