The Milford Bearcats basketball team (Milford, IL), was nudged 37-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL)

The Comets now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Thomas More for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Clifton Central will confront a Sabers team coming off a 57-45 non-league win over LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Sabers record now stands at 14-9.

The Bearcats (17-8) will now prepare for their battle against Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL). The Timberwolves come into the battle with a 3-22 record. In their last battle, Cissna Park was nudged by Oakwood (Fithian, IL), 62-34, in a league battle.
