Cumberland Beavers (Cumberland, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI), 75-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Cumberland upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Beavers travel to Cameron (Cameron, WI) to play the Comets in a Heart O'North bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Cameron won 83-56 in their recent league bout against Barron (Barron, WI)

Next up, the Rails play the Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI) in a Heart O'North bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Spooner will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 90-33 league win over Hayward (Hayward, WI).
