Arkansas High School Basketball - Malvern trounces De Queen

The Malvern Leopards (Malvern, AR) basketball crushed the host De Queen Leopards (De Queen, AR), 68-42 in Saturday's league test.
The Leopards (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Hope (Hope, AR). The Bobcats go into the 4A Region 7 test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Hope was trounced by Ashdown (Ashdown, AR), 66-61, in a league test.
The Leopards now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Arkadelphia for a 4A Region 7 test on Wednesday, February 1. De Queen will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 75-44 league loss to Magnolia (Magnolia, AR). The Badgers record now stands at 7-5.
