The West Jefferson Panthers (Terreton, ID) basketball knocked off the host Declo Hornets (Declo, ID), 67-53 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Firth (Firth, ID). The Cougars go into the 2A Nuclear test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Firth went down by North Fremont (Ashton, ID), 57-53, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Aberdeen for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Declo will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 64-59 league win over Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.
