The Westfield Mustangs (Houston, TX) basketball nipped the host Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX), 58-54 in Saturday's league test.
The Mustangs (13-14) will now prepare for their test against MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Generals go into the 6A Region II District 14 test with a 15-14 record. In their last test, MacArthur got by Spring (Spring, TX), 69-61, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 10-17 record. They play next when they travel to Benjamin Davis for a 6A Region II District 14 test on Wednesday, February 1. Eisenhower will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 37-33 league win over Nimitz (Houston, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 16-10.
