Texas High School Basketball - Ridge Point thwarted by Fort Bend Clements

The Ridge Point Panthers basketball team (Missouri City, TX), was toppled 51-40 in Saturday's league battle with the host Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX)

The Rangers now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Bush for a 6A Region III District 20 battle on Wednesday, February 1. Fort Bend Clements will confront a Broncos team coming off a 57-56 league win over Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 13-11.

The Panthers (13-13) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region III District 20 battle with a 14-15 record. In their last battle, Fort Bend Austin was toppled by Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX), 73-59, in a league battle.
