Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats (Augusta, GA), 54-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Frederica Academy upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The host Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA) to play the Gators in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 7-15. Bulloch Academy lost 72-32 in their recent league bout against St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Westminster Schools of Augusta will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 75-71 non-league loss to The Habersham School (Savannah, GA).
