Lakeside Rams (Hot Springs, AR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Harmony Grove Hornets (Camden, AR), 56-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lakeside upgrades its record to 11-14 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, AR) to play the Trojans in a 5A South bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Hot Springs won 52-44 in their recent league bout against Sheridan (Sheridan, AR)

Next up, the Hornets play the DeWitt Dragons (DeWitt, AR) in a 3A Region 8 bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Harmony Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 62-60 league loss to McGehee (McGehee, AR).
