The Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN) basketball felled the visiting Red Rock Central Falcons (Lamberton, MN), 53-42 in Saturday's league test.
The Patriots (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Cubs go into the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Alcester-Hudson was beaten by St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD), 75-38, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Adrian for a test on Friday, February 3. Red Rock Central will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 77-66 league win over Heron Lake-Okabena (Okabena, MN). The Dragons record now stands at 5-9.
