In Saturday's league outing, the Midland Adventist Academy Mustangs (Shawnee Mission, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams (Overland Park, KS), by a margin of 72-44.

The Mustangs (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Christ Prep Academy (Lenexa, KS). The Patriots go into the Great Plains outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Christ Prep Academy was trounced by Barstow (Kansas City, MO), 60-28, in a non-league outing.

The Rams now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to The Daniel Academy for a Great Plains bout on Tuesday, January 31. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy will play a Lions squad coming off a 64-32 league win over Guadalupe Centers (Kansas City, MO). The Lions record now stands at 9-7.
