Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA), 69-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Lanier upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Longhorns host Shiloh (Snellville, GA) to clash with the Generals in a AAAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Shiloh won 67-53 in their recent league bout against North Forsyth (Cumming, GA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Shiloh Generals (Snellville, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 bout, on Friday, February 3. Jackson County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-21 season record.
