In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mountain Mission Challengers (Grundy, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Jefferson Christian Academy Cardinals (Ripplemead, VA), by a margin of 62-29.
The Challengers (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Providence Academy (Johnson City, TN). The go into the non-league outing with a 13-13 record. In their last outing, Providence Academy was trounced by Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC), 85-44, in a non-league outing.
The Cardinals now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Capital City HomeSchool for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3.
