Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) and the visiting Quincy Jackrabbits (Quincy, WA), saw Lakeside's basketball squad hold off Quincy by a tally of 59-56.

With the victory, Lakeside improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA) to play the Cardinals in a 1A Northeast challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 1-17.

Next up, the Jackrabbits play the Cascade Kodiaks (Leavenworth, WA) in a 1A Caribou Trail challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Quincy will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record.
