Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA), 71-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Lower Merion upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Aces host Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA) to play the Jaguars in a Central bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Garnet Valley won 53-45 in their recent league bout against Ridley (Folsom, PA)

Next up, the Royals play the Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) in a Central bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Upper Darby will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Fords go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 50-35 league win over Conestoga (Berwyn, PA).
