In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Northwest Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 44-37 triumph over the Stover Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Tipton Cardinals (Tipton, MO) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. Northwest will attempt to move on its 18-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 16-3 record after their 76-50 league win over Otterville (Otterville, MO).
With the defeat, Stover moves to 4-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Warsaw (Warsaw, MO) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, February 6. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-15.
