Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield East knocked off by Waubonsie Valley

The Waubonsie Valley Warriors basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Plainfield East Bengals to 52 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeKalb for a DuPage Valley contest on Friday, February 3. Waubonsie Valley will meet a Barbs team coming off a 52-46 league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Barbs record now stands at 18-8.
The Bengals (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats enter the SouthWest Prairie contest with a 5-18 record. In their last contest, Plainfield Central was defeated by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 81-41, in a league contest.
