Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the South Wasco County Redsides (Maupin, OR) and the visiting Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR), saw South Wasco County's basketball squad wallop Sherman by a tally of 67-26.

With the victory, South Wasco County improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Redsides host Dufur (Dufur, OR) to confront the Rangers in a 1A Big Sky challenge on Friday, February 3. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Dufur won 55-50 in their recent league challenge against Ione/Arlington (Ione, OR)

Next up, the Huskies confront the Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR) in a 3A PacWest challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Sherman will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 59-32 league loss to Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR).
