The West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Steinert Spartans to 57 in the Pirates league victory on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a Colonial Valley contest on Tuesday, January 31. West Windsor-Plainsboro South will battle a Hornets team coming off a 47-31 league loss to Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 15-6.
The Spartans (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the Colonial Valley contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Hopewell Valley Central prevailed over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ), 68-44, in a league contest.
