In Saturday's non-league outing, the West Ridge Wolves (Blountville, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Union Bears (Appalachia, VA), by a margin of 59-57.

The Wolves (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Volunteer (Church Hill, TN). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 17-8 record.

The Bears now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host John Battle for a Mountain outing on Tuesday, January 31. Union will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 74-48 league loss to Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-10.
