Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME), 66-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME) to play the Breakers in a D South bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Breakers go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Pine Tree Academy lost 49-30 in their recent non-league bout against Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME)

Next up, the Vikings play the Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME) in a D South bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Vinalhaven will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
