Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) and the visiting Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), saw Dayton's basketball squad hold off Spring Creek by a count of 1-0.

With the victory, Dayton upgrades its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Dust Devils host Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to play the Greenwave in a challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Churchill County lost 54-49 in their recent league challenge against Fernley (Fernley, NV)

Next up, the Spartans play the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Spring Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 60-24 league win over Churchill County (Fallon, NV).
