In Saturday's league outing, the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) basketball squad edged the host Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV), by a margin of 54-47.
The Lancers (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars go into the outing with a 17-3 record. In their last outing, Spanish Springs held off Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV), 49-48, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Bishop Manogue for a outing on Monday, January 30. Douglas will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 61-39 league win over Galena (Reno, NV). The Miners record now stands at 15-4.
