Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA), 56-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Las Lomas upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Knights host Miramonte (Orinda, CA) to play the Matadors in a bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Miramonte lost 61-19 in their recent league bout against Campolindo (Moraga, CA)

Next up, the Broncos play the College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Northgate will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 48-41 league win over Acalanes (Lafayette, CA).
