Allen Academy Rams (Bryan, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Providence Classical Paladins (Spring, TX), 52-9 in a league bout.

With the win, Allen Academy upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Legacy Christian Academy (Beaumont, TX) to play the Warriors in a TAPPS 2A District 6 bout on Monday, January 30. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Legacy Christian Academy won 66-6 in their recent league bout against Chinquapin (Highlands, TX)

Next up, the Paladins play the Legacy Christian Academy Warriors (Beaumont, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Providence Classical will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 35-34 league win over Allen Academy (Bryan, TX).
