Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Alpena Leopards (Alpena, AR) and the visiting Oark Hornets (Oark, AR), saw Alpena's basketball squad wallop Oark by a tally of 77-30.

With the victory, Alpena improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Omaha (Omaha, AR) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Region 1 East challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Hornets confront the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins (Springdale, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Oark will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record.
