The Battle Lake Battlers basketball team (Battle Lake, MN), dropped 58-40 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Parkers Prairie Panthers (Parkers Prairie, MN)
The Panthers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Underwood for a A Section 6 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Parkers Prairie will battle a Rockets team coming off a 55-29 league loss to Rothsay (Rothsay, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 13-3.
The Battlers (1-15) will now prepare for their battle against Brandon/Evansville (Brandon, MN). The Chargers come into the A Section 6 battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Brandon/Evansville dropped by Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley (Graceville, MN), 64-49, in a league battle.
